Alright thanks to Neo, we've been able to get started on creating our own servers faster than expected.

He found a new way of creating a LAN (Local Area Network) server using this tutorial:

(Note: In the description box for the video, you guys can download the necessary items to create something similar to a cs 1.6 online server. Read the comments of the video for more information.)

However, there's one major problem to this solution of having our own servers. Very ironic Laughing

. Only the creator of this free server can join the server. As for everyone else, there's no way we can join because this server is created as a LAN server. One solution to this problem is to download Hamachi, which is basically a program that allows you to log into someone else's IP network. This is almost as if we played on the same computer that the server is located in, except this time it's not only the creator of the server that can join. Here's the link to download Hamachi:

I'm asking you guys to try to create one of these free servers and test it to see if more than just 1 person can join. I can't guarantee that this will work, but I'm pretty sure there's a good chance it will. If this does work we can be able to as soon as this weekend Very Happy

and we no longer have to wait for a month or pay anything out of our pockets. Thanks for everyone's cooperation.

People Creating a Hamachi Network

1) Make a free cs lan server from the tutorial I posted in the beginning of this post. Test it out to see if you can join or add it to your favorites.

2) Sometimes Hamachi automatically connects to your IP network when you launch it. If not, then after you install and launch Hamachi on your PC press the power button on Hamachi to turn it on. After you connect you should be able to see an IP address on Hamachi. After that you create your own private network by pressing a button on the lower 2nd to right. A window should pop up asking for a network name and password. You need a name and password to make a network so other people can join. After this, tell everyone the name and password you made.

3) Go on the cs server you created and find out the IP of your server.

4) Remember to tell anyone who is scrimming your Hamachi network name, password, and your cs server IP.

People Joining a Hamachi Network

1) You should see an IP address on Hamachi when you launch Hamachi, if not, then click on the power button on the lower left. Make sure Hamachi is turned "On". Then click on the lower 2nd to right side button on Hamachi. There will be a pop up asking for a network name and password you're trying to connect to. Type it in and you should be connected to a network that someone has created successfully.

Hm..This is a good idea for practicing.
Never thought of doing it like that before but I'm not sure how Hamachi would handle 5+ people being on the same IP network.
Maybe though.

It will. I've played on some games using Hamachi before, not cs though, with like 100 people connected to the same IP network, it's crazy.

If you make a server yourself, you'll get a big advantage with 0 ping and no lag. I guess you can practice for the time being, but you can't scrim in it because of the advantage.

Well, we'll practice in this lan server then scrim other clans in their own private servers.

Btw, I've looked up some private 12-14 player servers with 1000 FPS that go for around $60-$80. Do we really need 1000 fps for a scrim server? It'd cut the price by $30-$40 w/o the 1000 fps boost.

What's the difference? Isn't it just a ping boost of transmition gets boosted at 1000fps faster than LAN speed.
It'll just make your overall ping better.
Less lagg.
Not for a scrim server.

Dude, it's all in the guide I posted here. You make one of those free servers. See if you can join though. If you can, then download Hamachi from the link I included in the guide. Install and turn on Hamachi. On Hamachi it'll show you where and how you can create your own IP network, but you gotta create a name and password for it. It's literally as easy as pressing a button.

Alright let's get this shit done guys.
It's not that hard and we seriously need to have a good 3 on 3 practice or better.
Who here ALREADY has Hamachi and KNOWS how to use it? I'm pretty sure Juice, B00st and Myself do, but anyone else who doesn't, private message me with the problem you're having and I'll help you out.
We need to get this organized clan thing started.

I was on their one day with juice and b00st. For some reason I could'nt see at all what they were typing or saying but they could see mine fine. I was telling juice it was probably the shitload of sprites he added to server that I had to download at the beginning. Hopefully he's fixed it.

go internet and type ur lan ip examble 192.168.2.1 than login and search for ports ''NAT''

or go to portforward.com and find out of there =]
