ok so honestly, i thought todays practice was incredibly lame... I mainly went so I could be tested but whenever I asked, I was just kmind of ignored, also, I was wondering if awp is allowed in cal, if so awp should be aloud in scrim... |

Sorry about ignoring you guys, but it should be kind of obvious that yesterday was a mix of both testing and practicing. We're gonna be practicing on our server to run some scrim strategies and improve our skills.
As for the awp, the reason why it was restricted is because I need the rest of you to improve on your rifle/smg/pistol skills since the starting money in CAL is $800. That means the chances of anyone being able to buy an awp and actually make a difference with it is really really slim. You’re gonna be using rifles/smg/pistols throughout the whole match. Unless you’re incredibly good with the awp, it’s just going to be a waste of money that will hurt both our team and yourself.
Anyone who wants to scrim other clans has to have Steam. The scrims on Steam are much more organized and very close to the actual competitive scrims in leagues like CAL. What we do in our server is just a practice. However, when we scrim on Steam, we can only use the first 5 ppl that log on and anyone additional ppl who log on will rotate with other members of the starting 5.
As for scrimming on non-steam, we can do that too. The reason why Steam is preferred over non-steam is because on Steam you can find scrims much easier and everything is much more organized. The servers on Steam also run smoother than dedicated servers.
Any questions? |

Guys, learn to play well with deagle. If you play 4-5 rounds only with deagle, you'll earn about $8000-9000, so you'll be able to buy awp in 2-3 rounds. And you really have to make a good tactics cause most of you die too fast (i'm probably one of the worst members here, and yet i was alive much longer than you). I usually play with deagle and collect weapons when some1 dies Okay? |

Any questions? actually if you save for like 3 rounds you'll be able to buy an awp already so.... |

I think what juice is trying to say is that their is a limit of awpers in a scrim, you shouldnt have more than 2 even 1 is fine. Unless your a good awper, learn rifles. Everyone should know how to use pistols good too.
In practices we should go over cal strats and positions ct side. I was doing bad yesterdays scrim and made alot of mistakes but we had no strats T side. I can't call strats if nobody knows them and you also gotta hold your spots CT side. If i'm watching long A on dust2 and the person watching catwalk decides to go B that leaves a big opening for them to take A. I've said this many times and you guys arent listening. If your calling your spots in the beginning of the round, stay there! |

This server has uber lag. There is no way I can practice perfectly on this server. I'll try to find an empty non-steam server if I can and when I join this server from Steam, I kept getting this error |

Anthrax try connecting to the server using non-steam first and then Steam.
Well hopefully the server should lag less now that the patch that allowed the server to be both non-steam and steam is removed.
It's only non-steam now |

Only dust2 is useful. The other 2 won't be played in competitive scrims. |

lol i cant extend it, my ISP cuts on every1 bandwith and doesn't give what they r supposed to give....download and everything works ok for people and so they don't notice it, but when it comes to setting up any server where people connect to your computer, people usually get problems..
the thing is i can't even switch to another ISP..one gives me unlimited and good bandwith but dynamic ip, other gives me static ip, good bandwith but only with 60gb of download allowed. in that case server can hardly be on for like 5days straight and it will be all used up
(i think i can get juice's server working without hamachi, just waitin till he gets free and messages me) |
